CFI Installer Commitment

I, CFI Installer, having received status as a Certified Floorcovering Installer according to the skill level for which I have been certified, will provide the services of my trade in a manner in which I project quality workmanship, pride, and professionalism. I will agree to install all floorcovering products according to the Manufacturer's recommendations, and in accordance to the Carpet and Rug Institute's Standard of Installation of Textile Floorcovering Materials, the CRI-104 for Commercial applications and the CRI-105 for Residential applications, and the Approved Guidelines set forth by the Manufacturers of all floorcovering products.

Furthermore, I agree and have a commitment and responsibility concerning the previously mentioned standards and workmanship for a minimum of one year on all work I perform at these jobsites. All recalls will be rectified in a timely manner, which are deemed to be my responsibility.

It is my intent to set an example that will encourage others to enter the flooring installation field and to strive for recognition as quality-minded craftspeople. At all times, I will present myself as a professional according to my actions, attitude and attire. I understand that upon inquiry, the organization may release information that is received concerning any compliments or complaints that reflect my performance.

I further understand that if complaints are registered against my work with the CFI Complaint Committee, I will be notified. If the complaint is justified, I will be given the opportunity to rectify the problem in a timely manner and submit written confirmation of the such to the CFI National Offices. If the problem is my responsibility and it is not rectified, I understand that my membership will be terminated. If the complaint is not justified, the CFI Complaint Committee will notify the Customer of their decision.

I will agree to promote International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association, Inc. and represent CFI at all times as a quality-minded professional with the understanding that Customer Satisfaction is the ULTIMATE GOAL.
